Samuel's Fohawk

I thought Samuel would look cute with a "fohawk," but his hair was a bit unruly...

At least he's got a lot of hair. If he were a girl, we could really work something!

You might have a Joey if...

1. You find your keys missing...and stuffed carefully into a scented candle.
2. You find the spices dumped out...with car tracks running through them and some delicious smelling hotwheels nearby. (And your vacuum emits an amazing aroma for the next couple of months after the cleanup.)
3. You find a friend's flip flop...floating in the flamingo pool at the zoo, waiting to be retrieved by a zoo keeper wearing very tall golashes. (Yes, of course, your Joey threw it in.)
4. You find your baby spitting up...blue spitup because of the marker your Joey so lovingly gave him to suck on.
5. You find an assortment of trash...tucked carefully under the deck outside. Who knew we had an "outside trashcan?"
6. You find a river...in the sandbox...made by the hose...everyday for a week.
7. You find a toy school bus with the door pried off...because it was meant to be a mail truck instead.
8. You find your Joey...in a random neighbor's yard after a panicky search by yourself and several eager neighborhood children.
9. You find makeup...all over your Joey's face. Or marker. Or whatever.
10. You find that breakfast is already served...a raw hotdog or a bowl of shredded cheddar eaten with a spoon is healthy, right?

So if any of these things have happened to you, you might be lucky enough to have a Joey too.
I adore my Joey. He's sweet, affectionate, and A LOT of fun. He's brave and silly and makes life interesting. And when does something naughty, he does it with STYLE.

I'd like a cheeseburger and large fries, please...

This morning I awoke to the sound of Tommy and Joey talking outside my bedroom door. "Get your breakfast order ready," said Tommy. "Oh, okay," said Joey. "Are you ready?" asked Tommy. "Lep," Joey replied. Then into my room they burst. "Um, I'll have a milk, please, Mommy," said Joey. "And I want to order white frosted mini wheats," Tommy piped in. "Those are our breakfast orders, Mom."

Has it really come to this?
