A Cute Little Ball of Cuteness

Samuel fell asleep in the cutest position on the couch yesterday:

Happy Birthday, Jon!

Jon turned 31 yesterday, but Tommy must still think he's young and cool because he said the following at dinner tonight:
(Tommy to Mommy): "Isn't it fun that we have four kids in our family?" Then pointing to each in turn, "me, Joey, Samuel, and Daddy!"

And here is a picture of our mystery package from Amazon. Jon and I were so confused when this huge, interesting looking box arrived a few days ago. It looked like someone had reused an old Amazon box, taped it up haphazardly, jumped on it a few times, then put it in the mail. Our curiosity mounted as Jon opened it up and began pulling out foot after foot of brown package paper. Was this a joke?, we wondered, as Jon pulled out probably 50 feet of brown paper before finally locating the true contents at the bottom of the box: really nice car mats for our new van and a really nice new Mormon Tabernacle Choir cd from my parents! Samuel at 6 Weeks

I can't believe that Samuel's first six weeks have already flown by! He has almost doubled in size (he weighed 12 lbs, 7 oz. last Tuesday), has rolled from his stomach to his back 3 or 4 times, and is beginning to make cute sounds and smile at us! He has also begun to have some better nights (sleeping 4 hours at a time). Tommy and Joey also seem to be calming down, and we've had some days that are warm enough for them to play outside. Here are some updated pictures I took in the past three days:
