They're ready to go!

He's got his blankey, his boots, and a big grin...
he's ready to go!

And in case you were wondering where we're going, you can consult Tommy's detailed map...
We sure love our boys!!

Is Tommy a Mathemagician?

Anyone who's followed our blog from the beginning will remember that Tommy lines things up. Well, we finally have a theory as to why he does it...
...drum roll please...
He's a Mathemagician!

Note: These are not computer-generated images. They are actual photos taken of a three-year old's playroom.
Also Note: For the definition of a mathemagician, see Arthur Benjamin on "The Colbert Report," January 27th.

Baptism

Jon was giving the boys a bath when I heard a great commotion and Jon shouted: "Christy, can you come and get Tommy?" I ran into the bathroom and found Joey coughing and crying, wiping water from his eyes, and Tommy crying as Jon lifted him out of the tub. It seemed Tommy had dunked Joey, so as a consequence, Jon got him right out of the bath. A just punishment, right?

Both boys calmed down as Joey finished his bath and Tommy got dressed. Soon Jon brought Joey, wrapped in a snuggly towel, into the bedroom. He then asked, "Tommy, do you know why Daddy got you out of the bathtub early?" Tommy's response: "But I was trying to baptize Joey!"

That simple answer melted our hearts.

But we still had a good long talk about bathtime safety, priesthood authority, and, besides, Joey's even not eight years old yet!
