Happy Birthday, Samuel!

Samuel is a sweet, content, darling little boy with a quick smile and crazy hair.  He says da-da, ma-ma, and gogleegogleego.  He crawls quickly around the house and even up the stairs (with his big brothers cheering him on: Go, Samuel, go!)  His favorite activity is splashing in the bathtub.  He also loves standing up and "walking" from chair-to-couch-to-mommy's leg, etc.  He likes stuffed animals and always has a smile for a friendly, soft toy.  He loves to explore and crawls all around the house, or down the hall at church, or around the Relief Society room, without ever looking back for Mommy.  He loves Daddy, and often reaches out his arms for Daddy to hold him.  He loves to cuddle with Mommy, and often lays his head on her shoulder.  He's not weaned yet, and still prefers an early-morning snuggle/tasty drink of milk before going back to sleep a little longer.  He loves his big brothers, and they love him.   

 We love you, Samuel!

For a more stylish dessert, Risa's lemon cake balls.  The blue-eyed ducky is Samuel!  They were delicious!  (Having a chef as a friend has its perks!) 

P.S. At his one-year checkup, Samuel weighed 24 lbs. (67.6%) and was 30 inches long (84.07%).
